Savannah Grace had many firsts this past weekend. She met baby Grant for the first time, went to her first birthday party, her first bridal shower, and got her first hair cut. Friday night we took Savannah over to Ron and Jena's to meet baby Grant. He was born last Tuesday and is just precious and doing very well. It was only 5 months ago, but so hard for me to remember when Savannah was ever that small. Oh how they grow so fast!! Saturday we drove over to Orange Beach where we took Savannah to Sam's 2nd birthday party. She is a little young to play with anyone, but she loved watching all the other kids play together. After the party we drove over to Pensacola to see my parents. They watched Savannah while Nathan and I went to meet some friends for dinner at the Fish House. Pensacola has so many fun places to eat! We spent the night at my parents Saturday night so that Savannah and I could go to our friend Kristen's bridal shower on Sunday. It was fun getting to see so many people I haven't seen in forever and introducing them to Savannah for the first time. This week I'm trying to get Savannah to sleep through the night again. She has been waking up sometime between 3:30 and 5am every night for the last week and it takes me a while to get her back to bed. She may be teething and this is just a stage we will have to get through, but it sure does make her mommy very sleepy!!
